“I knew Falk was sweating the details, because I never did”

When a busy law practice in Iowa was getting ready to move into a new space, they knew they needed a full-service, end-to-end solution, so they called the Falkbuilt Des Moines Branch.

“We run a firm in two different states, and I don’t know the first thing about building or designer anything,” says Chris Johnston, founding partner at Law Group of Iowa."I deferred to the team at Falkbuilt a lot. Plus, 99 per cent of the planning was done remotely.”

Falkbuilt Des Moines understood what Chris wanted—he had a big picture in mind and needed a team that could take that vision and make it reality. “I let them worry about the details,” he says. “I told them the square footage and how many offices and asked what they could do, and they made it all happen. It was painless. The team really took care of me.”

The law firm wanted a Modern-Scandinavian style to offer a warm welcome to clients as they walked in. "We achieved this by using Falkbuilt millwork and solid walls at the reception area and by opening the skylight and windows to let natural light stream through the building," says Branch designer, Paige Mongar."The reception station shows a mix of Falkskins that help to add a fresh modern look to the space with the use of the marble, warm wood, and an indigo finish on the back millwork."

Chris wanted a lot of glass to let the light shine through the space, plenty of flexibility and an affordable price. He got all that, as well as peace of mind. “Falkbuilt ran the show. Every person involved knew their jobs and did them well. There were no issues whatsoever,” says Chris “I know Falk was sweating the details, because I never did.”
