“All the flexibility we could hope for”
Bright, beautiful co-working space is a hit in Indianapolis
Happy tenants are filling up the offices at The Club at Crosspoint, a new co-working space in Indianapolis. They like the location outside the city center, amenities like bike lockers and the light that pours through the working environment.
And, as The Club’s tenants grow and change, those offices can respond, says architect Kelley Miller of DELV Design. “The best thing we can provide in a co-working space like this is flexibility and the opportunity to combine two offices into one, or into four person offices. The Falkbuilt system provides all the flexibility we could hope for which allows The Club to really market to all clientele.”
Kelley started working with The Club and the Falkbuilt Indianapolis Branch during early design development. “The client knew they wanted flexibility,” says Kelley. “Everyone generally thinks of construction as drywall and studs, so anytime you want to make a change, it’s a big deal. They were familiar with how difficult that would be, and they thought it was par for the course in their future spaces.”
But along with future flexibility, Digital Component Construction is quick and painless in the initial construction phase. “The client was pleasantly surprised with the smooth process,” says Justin Reboulet of the Falkbuilt Indianapolis Branch. “There was no mess like in conventional construction and we finished the second-floor installation in days instead of weeks.”
