When Calgary investor, Phil Lockey, set out to refresh a 1,200-square-foot resort property here, he wanted more than just a beautiful interior — he wanted a space that was as durable, functional, and guest-friendly, as it was inviting. “The easiest part of our project, to revitalize an unused space within our resort and turn in into a spectacular two bedroom and two-bathroom suite, was working with Falkbuilt," Phil says.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding forests and rugged peaks, Falkbuilt Designer, Maeve Hegarty, worked in collaboration with Compass Design, to choose a soothing, nature-inspired palette that brings the outdoors in. Warm timber tones, rich greens, and soft neutrals echo the forest landscape, creating a sense of calm from the moment guests step inside. This two-bedroom retreat offers an ideal basecamp for adventure seekers, with easy access to hiking, skiing, biking, and snowboarding.
