2022 Falkbuilt Family Reunion highlights our values
Any company can have a factory, an office, hundreds of employees, a broad distribution network and matching T-shirts. But those are only a few of the ingredients needed for success. For a company to truly succeed, it needs a strong culture from the factory to far flung corners of the business.
Falkbuilt’s vibrant culture was on full display during our recent Falkbuilt Family Reunion in Phoenix. About 300 Falkers from far and wide gathered to hear inspirational speakers, attend round table sessions to learn more about Digital Component Construction, plus enjoy great meals, each other’s company and a little pool time.
Branches and HQ members have matching T-shirts, but more than that, Falkers have matching values: the drive to work hard, innovate, solve problems, respect each other, deliver great customer service—and aim to have fun doing it.
These values were evident at the reunion, from HR and Concierge folks pitching in with PMs and PreCon to build the display (in nine hours flat!) to helping tear it down and crate it up for HCD in San Antonio. Like all families, we can have disagreements, but we always come together to support each other.
CEO Mogens Smed thanked everyone for helping “create absolutely one of the most exciting events of our business careers. Your genuine response to our technology, solutions and our people was the ultimate recognition for the incredible effort our HQ team made in putting this whole thing together. Most importantly you gave us solid affirmation that we are going in the right direction.”
As Falkers get back home, they’re sharing their thoughts about the gathering.

We are “stronger together,” says David Dooley of the Falkbuilt Charlotte Branch, and one of the event speakers.
It was “an awesome time of connecting and sharing … We leave the reunion inspired, motivated, and ready to take on everything this next year of growth has in store for our awesome company,” says Falkbuilt CFO, Gina Thornton.
“We look forward to making the event even better next year,” says Mogens. And we can’t wait to see even more Falkers in their matching 2023 Family Reunion T-shirts.
