"Everybody is floored!"

When people first walk into Lorval Developments’ new space in downtown Kelowna, they want to feel the walls. “Everybody is floored! They want to run up and touch the rock-like wall. Right away people want to touch it,” says JoAnne Adamson, VP of Sales and Marketing for the thriving real estate developer. They expect to feel cool stone under their fingers, but the surface is durable and beautiful Falkskin.

As well as the stunning reception area, Lorval’s space includes a conference room with millwork, five offices, officles in the center, a communications Falkpod, gorgeous blue millwork in the breakroom and a printer area. “I love it,” says JoAnne. “It’s clean, it’s comfortable and I love the different textures on the walls. It feels upscale and it aligns with our brand 100 per cent: It says we have style, design sense, we know how to build and live in good spaces.”

The entire project took a total of six weeks from early design to install. Eleven days after the order was placed, the digital components arrived onsite. Four technicians took eight days to finish the job. “We are super impressed with how quickly things came together and how quiet and clean the construction experience was,” says JoAnne.

She was also blown away by the Falkbuilt technicians’ attention to detail on the job site. “You actually cleaned up after yourselves which is not common in the construction industry,” she says. “Your group wasn’t finished until the glass was wiped and the floors vacuumed.”
