Falkbuilt Mumbai Solution Center

With Falkbuilt’s cloud-based Echo technology empowering the design and fabrication of digital components in Calgary and Mumbai, the new Falkbuilt India Solution Center demonstrates the global reach and “compelling power” of Digital Component Construction.

“The Mumbai Solution Center was created in Autodesk’s Revit, transported to the cloud with Echo, and stakeholders from all over the world met in a totally interactive Echo Dome experience to make design changes in real time,” says Falkbuilt CEO Mogens Smed. “Echo linked the final design and engineering directly to Autodesk’s 3D Inventor models for fabrication in the Calgary and Indian manufacturing facilities. Even more impressive, the data was driven from Falkbuilt’s corporate HQ but most of this Solution Centre was fabricated in India.”

With Echo providing real time project data where it’s needed when it’s needed, a CNC operator in Mumbai easily fabricated all the cladding for the Falkbuilt India Solution Center. “I firmly believe Falkbuilt’s technology is not just about the future of construction, but the future of manufacturing,” says Monish Mehta, principal of the Falkbuilt India Branch.

He is delighted with the new Solution Center in Mumbai. “We knew the design had to be exclusive and high end. We battle the belief that prefab is not good enough for premium spaces and has minimum capabilities in terms of design. It was important to demonstrate the capabilities and superiority of Digital Component Construction.”

The design and manufacturing process was smooth and installation was quick and easy. “The other significant demonstration of Falkbuilt’s technology and engineering was the ease of installation," says Monish. “The entire team was new to Falkbuilt. Except for me, no one in the Mumbai team had seen or had any training on Falkbuilt. The complete installation was done based on the videos and 3D models. For me, this is the most important and biggest advantage of Falkbuilt.”
