“Forward thinking” solutions
North Carolina construction company creates showpiece space

When national construction company, Swinerton, moved into new space in Charlotte, North Carolina, they wanted their offices to “tell the right story” to clients and other visitors. That story is all about faster construction schedules and cleaner installs with offsite prefab solutions, including Digital Component Construction.
“We were working to craft a story about partnership and forward-thinking products and self-performed capacity for install,” says Jared Hoeflich, Vice President, Division Manager at Swinerton in Charlotte. “We want to find new and better ways of doing things and elements like we’re talking about here make all the sense in the world.”
Those elements include a conference room, an impressive Falkpod with telescoping door to allow the space to open into the foyer, and eight light filled private offices with cladding that complements brick and mass timber elements. “We love the space. I’ve been to most of our 21 offices. Maybe I’m a little biased for having something to do with it, but this is my favorite office in our company.”

Swinerton and Falkbuilt Charlotte Branch by CBI are teaming up to bring Digital Component Construction to other clients across North Carolina. “We are also getting ready to build out an expansion of our office and we’re looking forward to working with your team again,” Jared says.
Manufacturing digital components and shipping them to job sites for fast, clean installations is a no brainer with material and labor shortages and growing concerns about sustainability—Falkbuilt uses far fewer materials and virtually eliminates waste onsite.
“We are pushing the same things,” says Jared. “We’re trying to be part of the solution.”
