“We’re thrilled!”

Active Sports Therapy (AST), a busy sports therapy clinic in Calgary, wanted fresh, sophisticated space to deliver physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage services to their clients. So, they called the Falkbuilt Calgary Branch and general contractors BUILD IT.

“We’re thrilled,” says Dr. David Westmacott, AST’s President. “The space is exactly as we wanted it: very clean, easy to maintain, modern and stylish. It feels very professional.”

The space includes a reception area, six treatment and consultation rooms, a washroom and a laundry/staff room. It was the first time the BUILD IT crew has worked with Digital Component Construction, and they loved the simplicity of installing digital components to create solid walls, glass walls, doors and millwork.

“The fit and finishes are beautiful. You get an absolutely premium, top tier quality system versus drywall walls and paint kind of thing,” says Andrew Lobas, of BUILD IT. “It’s a really brilliant system. It makes a lot of sense. It definitely helps the construction schedule which is a big bonus.”

Andrew also enjoyed working with the team onsite. “When challenges presented themselves, which they always do in construction, we had a great team, a great synergy to make it through the whole process and come out the other end with a big success.”

Dr. Dave looks forward to the team working together at other AST clinics across Calgary in the future. “We plan on using Falk again, definitely.”
