Letting school spirit fly high

Manchester Middle School in New Jersey had a goal to create a new and exciting learning environment that would be attractive for both students and faculty. It had to be a smart space with integrated technology for programming educational and entertainment content. Finally, it was critical the space showcased the considerable school spirit.

“Their school colors were easily accommodated within the unique custom design pattern on the cladding of the solid wall,” says Akua Lesesne, principal of the Falkbuilt Morristown New Jersey Branch.

Akua and team also easily integrated a SMART board and TV into the robust structure, giving the school the ability to make changes to the technology when needed and creating a truly multi-functional and flexible space.

Installing such a large wall didn’t come without challenges: “We were able to use our 11’6” high cornice height walls within the high open assembly space and merge right into the underside of the ceiling, seamlessly,” says Akua. “That’s what makes Falkbuilt solutions unique, the ease and speed in which the tall super studs go in along with the ability to create custom angled connections.”

The entire install took a total of two days. “The school absolutely loves it,” says Akua. “They are so excited about the possibilities for engaging their students and staff with the new facility!”
