“Over the moon”

Customers walking into Sandals Nail-Spa in Toledo are immediately struck by the gorgeous floral wall in the middle of the salon. The custom graphic, printed on durable Falkskin and hermetically wrapped on cladding, is a real eye catcher; just as the salon owners envisioned when they built their new space.

“That feature wall is their favorite part of the design,” says Michelle Lemanek, a designer with Falkbuilt Toledo Branch. “The client has had a salon in the city for 20 years and they wanted to give Northwestern Ohio a spa like ‘they’d never seen before.’ The wall helps set them apart.” Another custom graphic on Falkskin, the salon’s mission statement, emphasizes the salon’s objectives to both customers and staff.

As well as dozens of mani/pedi stations in the main area, the new 7,300 sq ft salon includes a VIP area for Bachelorette or other private parties. The stack wall, with wood grain Falkskin on the bottom, gives a light and airy feel and lets the natural light flow through the space. Easily cleanable solid walls line the hallway and treatment rooms, helping ensure visitors feel cared for and safe.

“The salon owners wanted something really high end, really beautiful. But for not a ton of money,” says Michelle. “They were thrilled with Falk. They are just over the moon with their space.”
