Central Bank of the Midwest serves up coffee + style
When Central Bank of the Midwest wanted to refresh their space in Kansas City—including offices, meeting areas and a washroom—they called the local Falkbuilt Branch. Digital Component Construction provided sleek glass walls and gorgeous solid walls as well as creating the hub of the office—a gorgeous coffee bar with a durable stone Falkskin finish.
People love it,” says Vicky Zurliene, VP -Director of Facilities at Central Bank of the Midwest. “They say it looks beautiful. People say the finish on the coffee station looks like real marble and granite. I get a lot of compliments on the look of it.”
Always happy to provide accidental design inspo—Central Bank got the idea for a neon sign from a neon sign at the Kansas City Branch—Falkbuilt also provides full design support. Powered by Echo, Falkbuilt ensures what’s designed is what’s built.
“It was a smooth process,” Vicky says. “They worked well with our general contractor and the architect team. They're very easy to work with and they come up with solutions on how to fix any issues that came up.”
One issue was an ITM that had to move to a different spot than originally intended. But it couldn’t be placed against the wall. The Falkbuilt Kansas City Branch designed and built a custom millwork cabinet to make the ITM look like it belongs.
That on-the-ground problem solving, along with easy communication and terrific results, are a few of the reasons Vicky plans on working with the Falkbuilt Kansas City Branch again. “I'm looking forward to working on a couple more projects we have coming up,” she says.
