Taking “a journey” through Falkville
Virtual visit shows off a veritable village of solutions
A walk through Falkville in the middle of our factory is a walk through the awesome potential of Digital Component Construction. Each of the eight structures highlights different designs from top to bottom and various applications from healthcare to retail and education to commercial.
Hundreds and hundreds of people from all over the world have paid a virtual visit to Falkville over the last year with the help of Zoom. One recent participant was Kevin Dunal of Launch Center Inc. in Toronto. “The flexibility you offer is amazing,” he says of putting whatever image you like on a Barrisol stretched ceiling to textured cladding running along a wall.
“It was one of the best demonstrations I’ve seen in a decade,” says the leadership consultant and industrial designer. “I’ve been through gobs of presentations and there are a lot of really bad ones out there that are trying to sell you as opposed to showing you.”
We can’t wait until borders open and Kevin and other clients can actually feel the ribbing in the cladding for themselves, but until that day arrives, we’re having a lot of fun touring people over Zoom. “We always say that story telling is how people learn,” says Kevin. "It was literally a journey through the product experience telling a wonderful story at the same time, which made it impactful.”
