“Uncovering opportunities” in Boston
Bulletins from our beloved Branches
Mike MacDonald and his team started telling New England about Digital Component Construction in July and quickly started work on several smaller glass front and millwork projects. Now that Hallowe’en is approaching, they've got a couple sweet major projects on the horizon.
“We’re uncovering a decent number of opportunities,” he says. “It’s been a combination of a really great response from the A + D community and from the general contractor community, so we’re feeling really good about things.”
Digital Component Construction is “really resonating” in and around Boston, he says. “People have been interested in prefab for a long time but it has not always been easy helping them understand the process. The digital component side is so much more aligned with the way people think and because of this the learning curve is really short.”
Mike applauds the simplicity behind exponentially improving long-used construction components like studs and drywall to create Super Studs, digital horizontals and cladding. “It’s really exciting to be a part of it and I’m looking forward to the future.”
