Zigzag made easy
Take the straight path to angles with Digital Component Construction

When the Falkbuilt Newport Beach Branch set about showcasing Digital Component Construction, lead designer Meg Moussamih came up with three beautiful spaces, each with unique capabilities—a private office, a design library, and a meeting room with full AV capabilities.
A framed glass wall with black powder coat zigzags across all three rooms, adding sleek, custom flare. “The zigzag wall is such a unique element and does not cost much more than a straight wall,” says Meg. “Something like this can make a space look high-end without the typical high-end price tag.”

The space, which includes solid walls, a stacked wall and millwork in the private office, was installed in just four days. “Falkbuilt makes it easy to feel smart. All the digital components are labeled in such a way that any person could figure it out—which makes our installers, Construction Trades, really excited about installing,” she says.
Working with her colleagues at Falkbuilt as well as designers at Mozu Architects, Meg selected neutral warm-toned finishes to complement the high-end, hospitality theme of the renovated space. “Falkbuilt has hundreds of finishes to choose from, so we didn’t have a hard time finding exactly what worked in the space.” Each light-filled room serves a different need, but shares a cohesive design and feel. “We love it, and so do our clients.”
