“Superior product with better acoustics”

Sheila McCarter had to wait months to take a few pictures of First United Bank’s renovated HQ in Durant, Oklahoma. “We finished installing the glass fronts in April but had to wait for the other trades to finish up to take pictures in September,” says Sheila. “Our client said verbatim: ‘Falk is a superior product with better acoustics.’”

Sheila and team also helped First United Bank develop their “office of the future” for their 85 retail locations across Texas and Oklahoma. It started in 2020 with a quick drawing at a restaurant. “From a sketch off a napkin over a business lunch, we had a 10 x 15 office onsite in two weeks and installed in five hours, complete with magnetic writeable surfaces, fabric wrapped tack surfaces, and wall hung millwork,” says Sheila, of Falkbuilt by bauhaus in Dallas.

All projects have been installed during Covid, and the Falkbuilt by bauhaus team has stuck to the client's schedule, arriving on time, every time and on budget. “We’ve yet to have any hiccups, nor delays, and maintained on-time delivery and installation where other trades have not.”

Meanwhile, Sheila and the team at Falkbuilt by bauhaus in Dallas are working on dozens of other projects for the bank, the seventh largest in Oklahoma. “The president of First United Bank was very impressed with the initial mock-ups,” says Sheila. “He understands the value of not only what Falk offers from a financial and construction side, but the value in design, which is the differentiator, setting them apart from all other banks.”
